Major Update

This is Renae updating for mom because she has failed for far too long at doing so herself.

What has she missed since Russell left for his mission in 2009...?

Mom and Dad are growing old together and still loving each other. In the last few years they have been able to vacation to Hawaii, visit Las Vegas, and watch thier family grow and grow. Dad is still working in the computer industry and Mom is a stay-at-home-mom, though she doesn't actually spend much time in the house.

Brandy and Brett moved from their small apartment in Provo to a house in provo. They then upgraded to a beautiful house they now call home in Spanish Fork. During this time mom found 3 stray kittens in a woodpile in the neighborhood. Brandy and Brett now parent Zane (middle) and Valette (left) , and Lyndsie and Tim parent Mogget (right).

Lyndsie married Tim in June 2011. He is a physicist, currently in school, and working at the school. She is a stay at home kitty mom. They like to have game nights with friends and family as often as possible and may be moving out of state for work soon. We will miss having them close by!

Russell finished serving in WA in April 2011. He is now dating, attending school at UVU, and working for a Vinyl Fencing Company. He hopes to be getting married soon and may even have a lovely lady in mind, but nothing official yet so I shan't say anymore on the subject.

Renae married Tiave in April 2011. He works at a youth corrections home in Spanish Fork and She works for D1 Marketing in Provo. They just celebrated thier 1 year anniversary and are expecting a little one in November. They are in a bit of a transition stage right now working on buying a home for thier little family to grow in.

Ryan was baptised this year and is going to school at Amelia Earheart Elementary. He sings in the choir before school and seems to enjoy being in the music program. He also loves seeing BYU sports with Mom and Dad.

Mission Call

Well, the time has come and Russell has received and accepted a call to serve in the Kennewick, Washington Mission. He leaves on April 29th. We will have an open house to wish him well on Saturday April 25th.

We will miss him a lot but are happy that he has made this choice. We know that the Lord will bless and watch over him as long as he is obedient. So go forth young man, the field is white and ready to harvest.

WINTER

Well, winter is definitely here! SNOW, SNOW, SNOW and cold!

We built a snow slide down the front porch again this year and oh what fun!

Christmas was wonderful, nice and calm especially since Ed neede to have his appendix removed just 10 day before! It was nice to go to his parents and celebrate on the 23rd, then on Christmas eve Brett, Brandy and Lyndsie came over for tacos and gifts. Then Christmas day we went to my mothers house and celebrated with Cheryl, her family, Uncle Delano, Uncle Jim and Aunt Chris and mom. We had fun but missed Mary and her family.

Russell was ordained an Elder by his father on September 28th. What an awesome experience.
He was able to help give a blessing to a member of one of his hometeaching families last week. What an incredible gift the Lord has given to his children here on earth. I hope we always strive to live worthy of such precious blessings and abilities.

Renae Homecoming

Here is our beautiful Renae ready to go to her 1st High School Dance. Dang it's amazing how fast they grow up. Their day date was spent at a funeral where Renae had to sing, then they went to the mall to shop for ties, they had dinner at Red Robin then went to the dance. she had a good time. Yes her dad did wait up for her and she was home on time.
