Russell was ordained an Elder by his father on September 28th. What an awesome experience.
He was able to help give a blessing to a member of one of his hometeaching families last week. What an incredible gift the Lord has given to his children here on earth. I hope we always strive to live worthy of such precious blessings and abilities.

Renae Homecoming

Here is our beautiful Renae ready to go to her 1st High School Dance. Dang it's amazing how fast they grow up. Their day date was spent at a funeral where Renae had to sing, then they went to the mall to shop for ties, they had dinner at Red Robin then went to the dance. she had a good time. Yes her dad did wait up for her and she was home on time.

Loosing teeth

Well Ryan has lost his first tooth! One of his little bottom ones. He even pulled it out himself! First Russell and Ed tried tieing dental floss around it but all they did was get it stuck. So Ryan grabbed hold of it and yanked. Out came the tooth! he was so excited about the tooth fairy that he ran down to Renae's room the next morning and told her "the tooth fairy really does exist!" and of course he had to spend that dollar immediately!
(some day I'll figure out the picture thing and get one added here.)
love to ya'll

For Sale?

So what happens when you leave your 18 year old home and go to Florida without him?
He tries to sell the house! Ya, we get home at 11 p.m. and there is a for Sale sign on the front lawn! We go to church on Sunday and several people express great concern! Great fun explaining that it was just a joke. (sorry neighbors, your stuck with us).

Sea World

Thursday July 10th, Ryan and I went swimming again then when Ed finished with his meetings we went across the street to Sea World! We saw turtles, manatees, dolphins and aligators, we tried to touch the rays but they wouldn't come close enough. We walked through the tunnel of sharks, and saw the show "Shamu Rocks" and walked through gift shops. We also got our tickets validated to go again the next day for Free what's better than that?!

So, Friday we ate breakfast and went again to Sea World, bought hats, spray water bottle and wore plenty of sunscreen. Today we played at the childrens area, Ryan's favorite part was playing in the water. We saw the Sea lions and otter show "Clyde and Seamore" and "Shamu Believe" and we got soaked! thats what happens when you sit in the 5th row of the "Soak Zone"! We ate lunch at the Deli, saw the clydesdales, a bald eagle, some horn nosed bird and the penguins, then the weather got bad, wind, lightning, no rain. . . we went back to the hotel and had dinner, thinking that if the weather cleared up we might go back but it didn't so we enjoyed a movie and went to bed.

Saturday, our plane's not scheduled to leave until 4:40 p.m. so we got up packed and put on our swim suits, we checked out of the Hotel then went swimming until noon. Good timing the weather got bad again! We changed our clothes and went to Denny's for lunch. Got to the airport in plenty of time to sit around a wait.
Flew to Cincinati Ohio (2 hours) for a plane change and 1 hour layover, got dinner in the airport and then flew home to Salt Lake City (3 1/2 hours). The ride from Ohio to SLC was a little turbulent but all was well.

Today was a beautiful day in Florida it was partly cloudy with no rain and very warm! Ryan and I spent most of the day in the pool. This evening we will stay in our room and play legos. It's too crazy getting on and off the elevator in the evenings because the hotel is full of rude and obnoxious young girls! The hotel is hosting the National Tremaine dance competition! all this week. Nothing against young women but alot of these girls seem to think they are the only ones here and that waiting in lines or being respectful of others is not important. We try to stay out of their way. Ed is off bowling with his business partners last night they went to Jimmy Buffetts Margaritaville. (party animals!)
love to all.

Florida

Well folks, Ryan and I finally left the western united states. We got on a plane and flew all the way to the east coast! Now here we sit in a hotel room in Orlando Florida, waiting for the rain to stop so we can go swimming or to Sea World or something. Ed needed to come for a work convention so Ryan and I tagged along. It is beautiful here, lots of green stuff everywhere and weird things growing on the trees. (moss). Ryan did pretty good on the 4 hour plane flight only sleeping for a short time. Last night we went to Pirates Dinner Adventure, it was a lot of fun with a fabulous show and good food. I even had to be the green pirate cheerleader! gag! cheerleader is not my thing. Gotta run to Walmart, need some munchies! Be back soon.

Hi ya'll,
Well Renae may be 16 but she's not driving yet. Her mean parents won't let her even take drivers ed until she maintains a B average in school. Due to boy girl distractions she ain't doing so well! So far summer school is going much better though.

Russell; the sweet big brother that he is, took Ryan to see Kung Fu Panda this past weekend. Dad tagged along and they loved it. Now all the boys in our house go around doing weird Kung Fu moves!

We had an awesome time while cousins visited from Arizona. Celebrating High School graduations, Ryan's birthday, Memorial day and a trip to the Zoo. Maybe we should have left some of them there!?

Lyndsie thinks she's old enough to move out, so off she goes up the hill to another city. She's renting an apartment with her friend Hillary and her 2 year old daughter Kady. I hope they can make it. No furntiure necessary because she is taking all of Alex's while he goes off to Iraq!
Speaking of, please keep our soliers in your prayers.

The fight is on for the empty bedroom... Russell won, a seniority thing. Besides he will probably be leaving home in about 9 months anyway then Renae can have it for 2 years while we gut and re do the little one, maybe we should just make it a walk in closet it's so small!
